‏Courtesy Visit to the International Islamic Fiqh Academy

As part of his duties, His Excellency Salahdine Mahamat, Consul General of the Republic of Chad in Jeddah, was received on March 17 by Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, an institution affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), of which Chad is a founding member.

The discussions focused on the role of the Academy, as well as the situation of the Chadian diaspora in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Special attention was given to the opportunities offered by the Academy, particularly its university scholarship program. In this regard, His Excellency Consul General Salahdine Mahamat emphasized the importance of ensuring that Chadian students benefit from these academic opportunities.

This visit falls within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the Consulate and the Academy, in the interest of the Chadian community and its youth.
